Rejane Cantoni and Leonardo Crescenti, based in São Paulo, have worked together as an artist duo since 2005. They have held numerous exhibitions in art institutions worldwide, including Ars Electronica; The Creators Project; Glow and STRP festivals; Espacio Fundación Telefônica; Copenhagen Contemporary Art Festival; do Itaú Cultural; FILE Festival Internacional de Linguagem Electronica, Zeebrastraat; Mois Multi; thingworld. International Triennial of New Media Art 2014 Beijing; Ruhrtriennale 2014. In 2014 they received a Prize for "VOICE", in 2010 for “SPEAK” and a special mention for “TUNNEL” in Linz at the PRIX Ars Electronica. 

Rejane Cantoni is a São Paulo based artist. She studied communication, semiotics, visualization of information systems and kinematic interfaces in both São Paulo, Brazil and Geneva, Switzerland. Since 1987 she has researched and developed immersive installations using devices and technology for the acquisition and manipulation of data in both natural and automated environments.

With Leonardo Crescenti, she exhibited in numerous art institutions worldwide including Ars Electronica (Linz, Berlin, Mexico City), The Creators Project (New York, São Paulo), Glow and STRP festivals (Eindhoven), Espacio Fundación Telefônica (Buenos Aires), Copenhagen Contemporary Art Festival (Copenhagen), FILE International Festival of Electronic Language (São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitaba, Porto Alegre), Zeebrastraat (Ghent), Mois Multi (Québec), thingworld. International Triennial of New Media Art 2014 (Beijing), Ruhrtriennale 2014 (Duisberg), Asia Culture Center/ACC (Gwangju). In 2014, they received a prize for 'VOICE', in 2010 for 'SPEAK' and a special mention for 'TUNNEL' at the PRIX Ars Electronica (Linz). 

She holds two Post-Ph.D's in Arts from the University of São Paulo, a Ph.D and Masters in Communications and Semiotics from the Catholic University of São Paulo and a Masters from the Program of Études Supérieures des Systèmes d'Information from Geneva University. Before shifting to a full time artist, she was assistant dean and professor of Mathematics, Physics and Technology at the Catholic University of São Paulo.

Leonardo Crescenti was an artist and architect. He graduated from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. He researched and developed projects in new media and, since 1985, worked as director of photography and photographer. As a director of photography he directed 13 short films since 1978, winning 21 prizes in Brazil and 14 prizes elsewhere, with three showings at the Cannes Festival.


Rejane Cantoni e Leonardo Crescenti, (São Paulo, SP) pesquisam e desenvolvem  instalações imersivas e interativas. Desde 2005, entre outras mostras, a dupla participou do Ars Electronica; do The Creators Project; dos festivais Glow e STRP; do Espacio Fundación Telefônica; do Copenhagen Contemporary Art Festival; do Itaú Cultural; do FILE; do Zeebrastraat; do Mois Multi; do thingworld. International Triennial of New Media Art 2014 Beijing; Ruhrtriennale 2014. Em 2014 receberam o prêmio Itaú Cultural por VOZ, em 2010 os prêmios VIDA 13.2 por FALA e menção especial do Prix Ars Electronica para TÚNEL.

Rejane Cantoni Artista. Possui 02 Post-Ph.D. em Artes, pela Universidade de São Paulo, Brasil; 01 Doutorado e 01 Mestrado em Comunicação e Semiótica pela Universidade Católica de São Paulo, Brasil e 01 Mestrado do Programa de Estudos Superiores de Sistemas de Informação pela Universidade de Genebra, Suíça. Foi vice diretora de faculdade e professora da Faculdade de Matemática, Física e Tecnologia da Universidade Católica de São Paulo.[cantoni.rejane@gmail.com]

Leonardo Crescenti Artista e arquiteto graduado pela Universidade de São Paulo, Brasil. Desde 1978 investiga e desenvolve projetos em várias mídias e suportes. Como diretor, realizou 13 curta metragens obtendo varias premiações e participações nacionais e internacionais, inclusive 3 participações na Quinzena dos Realizadores no Festival de Cannes.
