SPRINGS are wearable, kinetic sculptures designed to produce audio-tactile-visual sensations in the user.

MOLAS são esculturas cinéticas vestíveis, desenhadas para produzir no usuário sensações áudio-tátil-visuais.
The shape, the choice of the material and the treatments used were defined in function of the combination: ergonomics, rigidity and elasticity.
As they are worn around the neck, spirals tinkle and jingle while they compress or stretch in function of the displacement of the interactor´s body.
As they are carried around the arms spirals compress or stretch, sliding, producing tactile effects in function of the position above or below the arm.
For the external observer, the elastic nature of the sculptures also produces kinetic and optic effects. When the object is compressed or extended, the force to which it is submitted draws linear standards of length proportional to the variations in geometric progression.
A forma, a escolha do material e os tratamentos utilizados foram definidos em função da combinação: ergonomia, rigidez e elasticidade.
Para serem portadas em torno do pescoço, espiras tilintam enquanto comprimem ou alongam em função do deslocamento do corpo do interator.
Para serem portadas em torno do braço, espiras comprimem ou alongam, deslizando, produzindo efeitos táteis em função da posição para cima ou para baixo do braço.
Para o observador externo, a natureza elástica das esculturas produz também efeitos óticos e cinéticos. Quando o objeto é comprimido ou estendido, a força à que ele é submetido desenha padrões lineares de comprimento proporcionais as variações em progressão geométrica.
